Hi there! We’re Nick and Joe—partners, artists, and passionate urban gardeners living in the heart of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Together, we’re The Prairie Bears.

What started as a backyard garden and a love for homemade food has blossomed into a small local business offering fresh vegetables, fragrant herbs, baked treats, and canned jams, relishes and more—all crafted right from our home.

Joe is a graphic designer and painter with a BFA and MBA, rediscovering his love for acrylics and vibrant color. Nick is a lifelong crocheter, gardener, drag cabaret performer, and avid home cook who finds joy in kneading dough, simmering jam, and harvesting basil at sunrise.

Our home is our creative hub, kitchen workshop, and urban garden. It's also the stomping grounds of our trusty cat sidekicks, Jinx and Freya.
